I
was born Rosemary Bixby..Halloween day 1934...and was immediately
given the nickname of FunnyFace by the nurses..the name has stuck
with me all of my life..
I
was born the 5th child in a family of 8....5 boys..3 girls. I was
also blessed with 2 older half brothers and 2 half sisters..
I
was raised by my beloved father in a single parent home and
shared his love of nature...He died in 1965 at the age of 72..and
I always see him in all of God's Creations..
My
Mom a city girl was scared of anything that moved..she died in
1995 at the age of 90...
I
married my late husband Russ on Feb.14,1953... We had 4 children...Jeanette,...Colleen...Pete...and
Russell jr.
I
started college when my youngest son did.. and earned a degree in
Medical Administration. I worked 14 yrs. and retired June of 1992..
I
was widowed in 1986 and traveled 5 years with a singles group as
their treasurer..In May 1991 I married my late husbands friend
John..and we share our home with a beautiful black kitty named
Missey...
I
enjoyed many hobbies during my life..such as
Cake
Decorating..
Silk
Flower arranging..sewing baby christening gowns...blankets..and
clothes...i also do embroidery..and make stuffed animals
during
the cold Michigan winter months..
I
was always an avid animal lover..and enjoy their history. The
Wolf was always my favorite after having a Malamute...
